We want your luxury newborn photography experience to be calm and relaxing for both you and your baby. This is one of the reasons we hold newborn sessions at the studio. We don’t want you to have to worry about cleaning or making your home picture-perfect. We’ve got the bed, the window, the plants, lots of pillows and blankets—everything you need for a homelike environment right here in the studio.
A Hassle-Free Experience: Figuring out what to wear, making a hair appointment, researching which makeup techniques will look great on camera. There’s no need to do any of this. All you have to do is show up! We provide professional hair and makeup services on site and have a client closet of flattering, comfortable, and photo-ready clothing for you to choose from.

What Does a Luxury Newborn Experience with Glean & Co Look Like?
During Your Session
10am: All right, mama, this is when you arrive with baby. And we’re thrilled to see you! We’ll greet you with a glass of champagne or a non-alcoholic beverage of your choice.
During this time, you’ll be pampered by our professional hair and makeup artist while we get started with baby. While you enjoy some beauty treatment, we’ll photograph baby individually in a series of studio-style poses to capture all of their teeny tiny details, and hopefully both awake and sleepy shots.
11:30am: By this time you are looking gorgeous and feeling better than you have in days. Time to begin family photos! If you have an older child this is a wonderful time to have them arrive with daddy or a grandparent. We’ll capture lifestyle sibling, family, and even extended family photos in the beautiful, home-like atmosphere of our studio.
12:30pm: You didn’t think we would let you leave without feeding you, did you? Now that the shoot itself is all wrapped up, we’ll serve you and your family a catered lunch from one of our favorite local restaurants here in Boise. During this time we invite you to relax, eat, feed baby, and even take a quick snooze if you wish. The studio is your space during this intermission!
1:15pm: You get to see your images for the first time! (Yes, it’s that fast.) We’ll rejoin you in the studio to show you your photos on the big screen so you can pick your very favorites to order for your keepsake artwork.
2:30pm: Now that you’ve chosen your images, we’ll send you home and start the real work!
After Your Session
Each of your images is carefully hand-edited for print so they will look beautiful on your walls or in a coffee table album. (Because trust us, you will be busier than ever now that your baby is here. You don’t want to stress about whether you’re ordering the right size prints or feel guilty when the baby book doesn’t get done. So, please, allow us to handle all of this for you.)
7-10 days later: Your finished digital versions are delivered—just a little taste of what’s to come. You can share these digital files with friends and family as you wait for the real thing!
3-4 weeks after you receive your digital photos: Your finished artwork arrives, even prettier than you pictured, and ready to hang on your walls before you’ve even left the 4th trimester!
