I've been a photographer since high school, but my journey to specializing in newborn and family photography really began when I became a mom myself.
After studying at the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) and Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, I spent years as a professional retoucher before joining Glean Photography in 2017.
By 2019, I had taken over the company completely, focusing entirely on what I'm most passionate about—capturing the beauty of early parenthood for families in Boise and surrounding areas.

As a mother of three boys—Crewe, Blade, and Bowen—I understand how quickly these early days pass. I also know how overwhelming it can feel to plan a newborn photoshoot when you're pregnant, sleep-deprived, or trying to wrangle a toddler. That's exactly why I've built our studio experience the way I have - it's what I wanted when I was in your place as a brand new mom.
My Why: From Mom to Mom
When I was designing our studio, I couldn't decide between offering posed studio newborn photography or lifestyle family portraits.
Posed studio newborn shots are absolutely adorable, but lifestyle family photography is where all the real emotion lives—those are the images that transport you back to those early days long after they're gone. I wanted both options for my own family, so I built a studio that could provide both for yours.
Our lifestyle studio gives you that cozy home atmosphere with perfect lighting and beautiful bedding—without having to clean your house or worry about whether your nursery is photo-ready.
