Most of our families reserve their due date during pregnancy so that once baby arrives, everything is already handled.
We'll guide you through every step, from reserving your due date to choosing your favorite images.
That way you're not trying to make a dozen decisions while recovering from birth, feeding a baby around the clock, and adjusting to life as a family of three, four, or five.

Our newborn sessions take place in our SE Boise lifestyle studio.
Unlike a traditional portrait studio, our space was designed to feel more like a home. Real beds. Real furniture. Real connection.
It allows us to create images that feel natural while still giving us the controlled lighting and safety needed for newborn photography.
Everything you'll need is already here, including wraps, headbands, newborn outfits, and access to our client closet for the rest of the family.
Most newborn sessions take place within the first few weeks after birth.
The good news is that you don't need to know exactly when baby will arrive before booking.
Most families reserve their due date during pregnancy, then we finalize the session once baby is here.
While many newborn photographers only photograph babies within a very narrow age range, we welcome older newborns too.
There isn't one perfect age for newborn photos. There is simply the age that works best for your family.
Every part of the experience has been thoughtfully planned so you can simply show up and enjoy your baby.

A shorter, more focused newborn session.
As soon as you see a (+) sign! We recommend booking your photos 2-3 months BEFORE your due date to ensure availability. However, if your baby has already been born we will do our best to get you in as soon as possible.
When should I schedule my newborn photos?
How do I schedule newborn photos when I don’t know when they will actually arrive?
Yes! While we do book up in advance we are happy to squeeze newborn sessions into our schedule whenever possible. Older babies tend to be a little more alert and may not go into the sleepy poses typical of a 1-3 week old, but instead we can get some beautiful photos of them with their eyes wide open, or even with one of those first smiles! We truly believe there is no wrong time to photograph your baby.
My baby has already been born, can I still schedule newborn photos?
We understand that stuff comes up and will do our very best to get you rescheduled whenever possible. We ask that you please use the “better safe than sorry” mindset and reschedule if you or another family member is sick.
Your baby's safety is our number one priority. We thoroughly clean and sanitize between sessions and are safety certified in both newborn photography posing as well as infant CPR.
What if I need to reschedule?
Yes, this is tricky! But all our newborn clients are in the same boat so we are constantly shuffling. We take a limited number of newborn bookings each month to ensure that we will be able to get you onto the schedule within 1-3 weeks after your baby is born. You will have a tentative session date about a week after your due date that can be adjusted as necessary. We ask that you keep us in the loop on baby’s arrival so we can plan accordingly.
How long does the session last?
During our complete newborn experience session we will shoot from 10-12:30, provide a catered lunch and view your images immediately following your session. All other studio sessions begin at either 10am or 12:30pm and last 60-90 minutes.

Do you offer weekend or evening newborn sessions?
Our newborn sessions take place Monday-Thursday and begin at either 10am or 12:30pm so that we can ensure our entire team is available and our natural studio light is at it's very best.
The studio is closed Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Our complete newborn experience includes a same day viewing session! For all other sessions we schedule our ordering appointments approximately 1 week later either in person or via zoom. We do not offer online galleries for viewing.
How long does it take to see my images?
Wait, Viewing Session? What’s that?
Your images are finalized 10-14 days after your ordering appointment and sent via web gallery for your approval. Once product orders have been placed, albums and collection boxes arrive in about 3-4 weeks. Please allow 8-10 weeks for custom framing and wall art. Everything will ship directly to your doorstep.
Once my order is placed how long does it take to arrive?
All images that you purchase get basic color correction and cleanup for stray hairs, tiny blemishes, baby acne etc. They are then color corrected for print. If you would like us to do anything else, say the word! Extensive retouching is available for an additional fee.
Yes, all of our collections are available with or without the physical products, however the price remains the same. While we highly encourage creating a keepsake art piece for your child, it is ultimately your decision.
How much editing do you do to the images?
Can I just buy digital files?
A viewing session or ordering appointment is when you look at your images together for the first time. At this session you’ll see the products we offer, choose your favorite images, request any changes you might have (goodbye postpartum acne and fly away hairs!) and we’ll place the order, editing your images to perfection and printing your chosen artwork with our professional labs.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We are happy to offer payment plans with Affirm as well as Afterpay so you can receive your images while your baby is still little- but break up the payments over time.

What's your cancellation policy?
Your package is fully refundable minus a $200 cancellation fee up to 30 days prior to your scheduled session date. After that time, your package is no longer refundable but can be transferred to any other session we offer within one year.
