In-Person Guided Experience: Let us hold your hand through the entire process. Visit our studio or meet us on zoom where we'll walk you through your images, help you choose your favorites, and assist in designing the perfect display options for your home. It's a personalized, immersive experience perfect for those who appreciate hands-on guidance.

Our schedule generally fills up 2-3 months in advance. Fall family session slots are typically completely full by the end of August, so be sure to book early if you're hoping to use your images for holiday cards!
When should I schedule my family photos?
What happens if it rains?
For outdoor sessions we like to being an hour before sunset for the best light, or early morning if that's easier for your family's schedule. Studio sessions can be done anytime during daylight hours.
When do family sessions take place?
We are happy to do a shorter session for you! Our regular session includes up to 1 hour of shooting time but if you're looking for something simple we can absolutely do this in a more compact time frame. Some families choose to stick to just the base collection, effectively creating a mini shoot.
We focus on capturing intimate family moments with parents and children to create emotionally rich portraits in our signature style. For larger extended family gatherings, we're happy to recommend photographers who specialize in those sessions. Please let us know who will attend so we can plan the perfect session.
Do you offer mini family sessions?
Can the whole family be included?
We always watch the weather closely for our outdoor sessions and will keep in close touch if it looks like we might need to reschedule. Switching to a studio session is always an option or we can find another date with more promising outdoor conditions.
How long does the session last?
Our classic family sessions last about an hour. We play games and try to make it as fun as possible to keep littles (and dads) entertained.
Your Questions, Answered
We will schedule a time to view your images within 1-2 weeks of your session. You'll have a choice of an in-person viewing session or our online ordering experience.
How long does it take to see my images?
Wait, Viewing Session? What’s that?
Your images are finalized10-14 days after your ordering appointment and sent via web gallery for your approval. Once product orders have been placed, we generally have albums and collection boxes ready for you in about 3-4 weeks. Please allow 8-10 weeks for custom framing and wall art. Everything will be shipped directly to your doorstep.
Once my order is placed how long does it take to arrive?
All images that you purchase get basic color correction and cleanup for stray hairs, acne, etc. If you would like us to do anything else, say the word! Extensive retouching is available for an additional fee.
Yes, all of our collections are available with or without the physical products however the price remains the same. While we highly encourage creating a keepsake art piece for your family, it is ultimately your decision.
How much editing do you do to the images?
Can I just buy digital files?
A viewing session or ordering appointment is when you look at your images together for the first time and place your artwork order. It takes place in person at the Glean studio or via Zoom. At this session you’ll see the products we offer, choose your favorite images, request any changes you might have (goodbye postpartum acne and fly away hairs!) and we’ll place the order, editing your images to perfection and printing your chosen artwork with our professional labs.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We are happy to offer payment plans with Affirm as well as Afterpay to help breakup your payments over time.
