Feeding sessions are unique- particularly breastfeeding photography sessions. You may be wondering where you would display these or if they'll be tasteful.
We encourage you to think about the spaces in your home and the difference between pubic spaces and private spaces.
A public space is something like the living room, kitchen, hallway or even a bathroom commonly used by guests. A private space is usually your master bed and bath, the nursery and/or office.
A large family portrait on the wall in the living room seems perfectly at home, while a large scale nude portrait may feel like a bit too much.
Smaller framed groupings hung in a private space, intermixed wall galleries with non-feeding shots and albums are a great way to document and display this intimate and fleeting stage of life!

Your Design & Ordering Appointment
The design & ordering appointment is hands down our favorite part of the entire process. This is where we show you your images for the first time and help guide you in choosing the very best keepsake products for your home and family.
We believe this is the part that absolutely shouldn't be skipped and sets our services apart from other photographers! We begin with a small slideshow with ideas for wall galleries, albums and newborn announcements and then go through each image one by one choosing the very best of the best.
Anytime! Some families prefer to schedule their feeding photos for when baby is teeny tiny and still learning the bottle or breast. If you are wanting to capture a particular stage we recommend sooner rather than later because babies change quickly and sometime their feeding habits do too.
When should I schedule my feeding photos?
What happens if my baby doesn't want to eat during our photoshoot?
Yes! If you would like to bundle a feeding session with a family we are happy to offer the family photos complimentary with your feeding session retainer fee.
Can we do family photos at the same time?
We are happy to do a shorter session for you! Because we operate on a "only buy what you love" platform you can absolutely treat any of our sessions as a mini and only buy a couple images.
Yes! We encourage older siblings, mom & dad and even grandparents to take part in our sessions and do not charge extra for additional people. Please just let us know in advance who to expect so we can plan accordingly.
Do you offer mini feeding sessions?
Can the whole family be included?
We try our best to schedule photos during their regular eating times so that we can make sure to capitalize on that time. We also work quickly so if they only nurse for a few minutes or chug a bottle quickly, we can still get great shots.
How long does the session last?
Our feeding sessions typically lasts about 45 minutes to an hour and a half depending on how many family members are involved in the session.
Your Questions, Answered
Our studio feeding sessions now include a same day viewing session! For our outdoor sessions we will schedule a time to view your images within 1-2 weeks of your session.
How long does it take to see my images?
Wait, Viewing Session? What’s that?
Your images are finalized 7-10 days after your ordering appointment and sent via web gallery for your approval. Once product orders have been placed, we generally have albums and collection boxes ready for you in about 3-4 weeks. Please allow 8-10 weeks for custom framing and wall art. Once everything arrives we will let you know that it is ready for pickup at the Glean Studio.
Once my order is placed how long does it take to arrive?
All images that you purchase get color correction and cleanup for stray hairs, acne, etc and are sent to you for approval before printing. Extensive retouching is available for an additional fee.
Yes, all of our collections are available with or without the physical products. While we highly encourage creating a keepsake art piece for your child, it is ultimately your decision.
Our cake smash session booking fee goes entirely toward your product order with no obligation to spend beyond this. We want you to walk away with only the artwork you absolutely love and cherish.
How much editing do you do to the images?
Is there a minimum purchase required?
Can I just buy digital files?
A viewing session or reveal session is when we meet with you and any other household decision makers to look at your images together for the first time and place your artwork order. It takes place at the Glean studio or at your own home by special request. At this session you’ll see the products we offer, choose your favorite images, request any changes you might have and we’ll place the order the very same day with cash, check or card.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We are happy to offer payment plans with Affirm as well as Afterpay so you can receive your images while your baby is still little- but break up the payments over time.
