- Babies must be 4 - 18 month old and local to Boise, Idaho
- Milestone session lasts 30 minutes
- Your images will be delivered via a waterproofed web gallery to choose your favorites
- Pick your favorite image to enter into the competition
- Use your $90 participation fee toward any images you wish to purchase - and support Idaho Food Bank

Chunky Baby is meant to be a fun contest celebrating adorable babies and their beautiful rolls. But we know that not every family can provide the food necessary to feed their children. While it may seem like a problem for third world countries, it is effecting families everyday in our Idaho backyard. Out of immense gratitude for our own "chunky babies" we wish to give back to our community by helping others in need and working to provide food for all Idaho children.

Fill out our application at the top of this page to officially apply and we'll respond within 48 hours with booking options. Applications will be prioritized by participants who wish to help us raise money for the Idaho Food Bank, however, everyone is welcome to join and there is no minimum purchase required to participate.
Step 1: Applying for Your Spot
After your application is approved we'll send you available session times & dates so you can choose the one that works best. You'll be able to book your session time directly through our website, pay your $90 participation fee, sign our modeling contract and fill out a styling questionnaire!
Step 2: Booking Your Session
After you're officially booked we'll send over our session tips & tricks and the option to set up a pre-session consultation and fitting appointment so you check out our client closet, see all of our print and product options in person and get all kinds of excited for our session together.
Step 3: Preparing for Your Shoot
On your big day we'll choose our final outfits and immediately get started. We'll plan to photograph your chunky babe for about 25-30 minutes in 3 different setups so it's quick an easy for them and give you lots of great variety to choose from. We ask that you please arrive a few minutes early so we can start right on time!
Step 4: Your Photoshoot
It's time for our favorite part- the big reveal! We'll provide you with a web gallery within 7 days of your photoshoot so you can choose your favorite images to enter into the competition as well as any others you'd like to purchase. Want a little help with ordering? We're more than happy to schedule you a complimentary in-person ordering appointment if you'd prefer
Step 5: Your Ordering Gallery
Next we'll load the images you've chosen into our online poll where we invite you and all your friends and family to vote for your baby's winning rolls!
Prizes will be chosen at the end of each round so be sure to vote every day- even if your baby isn't in that round!

Grab your spot
Our Chunky Baby milestone sessions are quick 30 minute intervals with other baby's appointments directly afterward so unfortunately we won't have time to take photos of the entire crew. However, if you'd like to involve the whole family let us know and we can upgrade your chunky baby to a full family session and still grab the images needed to enter the contest at the same time.
can you take photos of the whole family at the same time?
Chunky Baby sessions will be shown on our website as well as on our social media accounts for voting purposes, therefore a signed model release allowing us to show your images is required. However, we are more than happy to do a private milestone session for you separately from Chunky Baby. Visit our Milestone Session page to learn more.
can i keep my baby's images private?
Digital files are purchased separately from the $90 participation fee. We know how important having a digital copy is so we offer a variety of digital file purchasing options. Read more about our pricing and products here.
are the digital files included?
Voting will begin on March 6, 2024 via our online voting platform. All chunky baby participants will be added to our email list so you'll get all of the details and links for when the votes will take place. Voting is open to the public and we encourage you to send links to family and friends to vote for your baby!
when does the voting start? and where?
Just the baby! We invite you to show up with nothing but your adorable chunk. We will provide everything else- even baby friendly snacks since we know modeling is extra hard work.
what do i need to bring?
Yes. We don't discriminate! If you baby is adorable and you want to help us support the Idaho Food Bank, you're more than welcome to apply for a spot.
