- Book a special discounted milestone session during Jan-Feb 2025
- Babies must be 4 - 18 month old and local to Boise, Idaho
- Milestone session lasts 20 minutes
- Your images will be delivered via a watermarked web gallery to choose your favorites
- Pick your favorite image to enter into the competition and receive a 5x7 Matted Print to display in your home along
- Choose any other images to purchase and support the Idaho Food Bank
- Vote, vote, vote!
- Share with friends and family to support your chunky beauty!

Chunky Baby is meant to be a fun contest celebrating adorable babies and their beautiful rolls. But we know that not every family can provide the food necessary to feed their children. While it may seem like a problem for third world countries, it is effecting families everyday in our Idaho backyard. Out of immense gratitude for our own "chunky babies" we wish to give back to our community by helping others in need and working to provide food for all Idaho children.

Step 1: Grab Your Spot
After booking, you'll receive our detailed session tips & tricks guide to help you prepare for a successful photoshoot. We'll make sure you have everything you need to feel confident and excited about our time together.
Step 2: Preparing for Your Shoot
On session day, we'll start by selecting from our variety of adorable outfits, or you're welcome to bring your own. Your 20-minute session will include multiple setups to create a diverse collection of images of your little one. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can begin right on time and make the most of your session.
Step 3: Your Photoshoot
It's time for our favorite part- the big reveal! We'll provide you with a web gallery within 7 days of your photoshoot so you can choose your favorite images to enter into the competition as well as any others you'd like to purchase. Want a little help with ordering? We're more than happy to schedule you a complimentary in-person ordering appointment if you'd prefer
Step 4: Your Ordering Gallery
Next we'll load the images you've chosen into our online poll where we invite you and all your friends and family to vote for your baby's winning rolls!

Grab your spot
Our Chunky Baby milestone sessions are quick 20 minute intervals with other baby's appointments directly afterward so unfortunately we won't have time to take photos of the entire crew. However, if you'd like to involve the whole family let us know and we can upgrade your chunky baby to a full family session and still grab the images needed to enter the contest at the same time.
can you take photos of the whole family at the same time?
Chunky Baby sessions will be shown on our website as well as on our social media accounts for voting purposes, therefore a signed model release allowing us to show your images is required. However, we are more than happy to do a private milestone session for you separately from Chunky Baby. Visit our Milestone Session page to learn more.
can i keep my baby's images private?
Digital files are purchased separately from the $90 participation fee. We know how important having a digital copy is so we offer a variety of digital file purchasing options. Read more about our pricing and products here.
are the digital files included?
Voting will begin on March 11, 2025 via our online voting platform. All chunky baby participants will be added to our email list so you'll get all of the details and links for when the votes will take place. Voting is open to the public and we encourage you to send links to family and friends to vote for your baby!
when does the voting start? and where?
Just the baby! We invite you to show up with nothing but your adorable chunk. We will provide everything else- even baby friendly snacks since we know modeling is extra hard work.
what do i need to bring?
Yes. We don't discriminate! If you baby is adorable and you want to help us support the Idaho Food Bank, you're more than welcome to apply for a spot.
