Hi, I'm Paige McLeod - Mom of Three & Owner of Boise's Best Maternity and Newborn Photography Studio.
Twenty-five years ago, I picked up my first camera. Today, after photographing over 500 newborns in the Treasure Valley, I still get goosebumps when I capture that perfect moment between parent and baby.
But here's what I learned the hard way: when my first son Crewe was born, I thought I could DIY his newborn photos. Armed with confidence and a folding card table covered in a wrinkled white sheet, I quickly discovered that newborn photography requires specialized skills, safety training, and patience I didn't have as a sleep-deprived new mom.
That failure sparked my passion for creating the experience I wish I'd had - where exhausted parents can show up and be pampered while their baby is safely photographed by certified professionals.
Now, with three boys of my own (Crewe, Blade, and Bowen) and our 14 diva-named chickens, I understand exactly what you're going through. The sleepless nights, the overwhelming love, and that nagging feeling that time is slipping away too fast.
