Baby Photography Mistake #3:⁠ Shooting up the nose⁠

I feel like this is one of those mistakes that once you know about it, you just see it everywhere. Especially in those milestone pictures where the baby is lying on their back with a letter board next to them!⁠

To fix this classic mistake, shift your body up and over baby so that⁠ the camera is level with their eyes and emphasis is on their face, instead of their feet. If you can see up the baby’s nose, you’re too low.⁠

p.s. when shooting over the top of baby, always wear a camera strap around your neck or hold your phone with 2 hands for safety.⁠
